C27200
UNS C27200, often referred to as yellow brass, contains a minimum of 62% copper. CuZn37 is the primary brass alloy used for cold forming processes. While brasses with lower zinc content may offer superior cold forming properties, CuZn37 remains the most widely used alloy for several reasons. Firstly, it is economically advantageous because zinc is less expensive than copper. Secondly, this alloy’s forming properties align with the requirements of many applications, making it a practical choice.
