C3712

C3712, classified as Engraving brass, are alpha-beta brasses with a 60/40 composition, incorporating varying quantities of lead to enhance free machining attributes. These alloys find extensive application in engraved plates and plaques, builders’ hardware, and gear manufacturing. It’s essential to note that they are not suitable for acid etched applications, where single phase alpha brasses are more appropriate.
